KINGSTON (September 29th, 2019) – The Queen's Gaels (3-5-1) earned a 1-0 shutout victory over the Sunday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.
GAME FLOW
The Gaels and Voyageurs traded scoring opportunities throughout the first half hour of the match as both teams searched for an opening goal.
Queen's broke through in the 36th minute as
Michael Chang found the back net to score the lone goal of the match. During the second half, the Gaels confidence grew as they launched shots on goal looking to increase their lead.
The Gaels defence held the Voyageurs to just three shots on goal in the match for their second victory this weekend and their third win of the season. With back-to-back wins, Queen's will look to continue to build momentum as they hunt towards the playoffs.
