KINGSTON (September 21st, 2019) - The Queen's Gaels (1-5-1) lose a close matchup 1-0 to the Carleton Ravens (7-0) at Tindall Field.
GAME FLOW
The undefeated Ravens opened the scoring early with a goal in the 16h minute, however, the Gaels defense held strong for the rest of the contest.
Queen's kept the Ravens lead to just one throughout the first half, as the Ravens maintained possession and fired shots on goal. At the midway point of the second half, the Gaels offense began producing chances in their attempt to level the score. Queen's ran out of time in their comeback attempt as the Ravens held on until the final whistle for a 1-0 victory.
With the victory, the Ravens undefeated season continues while the Gaels will look towards their next contest, a home matchup against the Nipissing Lakers, for their second victory of the season.
