KINGSTON, Ont. (November 9th, 2019) Gaels (4-7-0) lose 6-1 to the visiting Rams (6-2-1) Saturday night in Kingston.
GAME FLOW
Following a 3-0 loss to Toronto Friday night in Kingston, the Gaels were aiming for their fifth win of the season back at home as they took on the welcomed the Ryerson Rams to the Memorial Centre.
Within the first five minutes of the period, Queen's found themselves down early 1-0 after the Rams were able to find the back of the net first.
The remainder of the period followed the same pattern as the opening five minutes with the Gaels staring at a 3-0 deficit heading into the first intermission. Two early goals from the Rams would make it a bit more challenging for the Gaels down 5-0 with just over 15 minutes left in the second period.
Following a late power play that saw the Gaels come close to getting on the board twice, the second period ended with the Rams leading 5-0 with 20 minutes remaining in the contest.
Following a sixth Rams goal, Gaels forward Liam Dunda would prevent a Ryerson shutout by scoring the Gaels only goal with just over 13 minutes left to play.
The night would end with the Gaels falling 6-1 to Ryerson.Â
