th, 2019) The Queen's Gaels fell in straight sets to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues (3-1) on the road in Toronto on Friday night.
GAME FLOW
The Gaels played strong offense in the first set, putting up 30 total attempts to the Blues 25. Gaels outside hitter
Arielle Palermo lead the offense with multiple attempts. Despite several huge blocks by the Gaels in the first set, the Blues were able to take the set 25-18.
The fast-paced offense continues for the Gaels, leading the set with 21 total attempts to the Blues 17 attempts. The Gaels attack was well displayed as Queen's completed five kills to Toronto's four in the second set. Ultimately, the Gaels could not come back from the Blues persistent blocking and Toronto won the second set 12-25.

Vivian Zanutel on defense, who led Queen's with seven digs, the Blues won the third set 25-9 to sweep the Gaels in three sets.
