KINGSTON, Ont. (November 21
st, 2019) The Queen's Gaels earned a 3-1 over the RMC Paladins at the Royal Military College on Thursday night.
GAME FLOW
The Gaels set up impressive offense in the first set. Queen's outside hitter
Zac Hutcheson's impressive start set up a strong start for the Gaels. The Paladins could not comeback as the Gaels took the first set 25-17.
The Gaels kept up their offense rolling, coupled with strong efforts on defense from setter
Zane Grossinger through the second set. Grossinger completed a total of eight digs against the Paladins. The Gaels maintained their lead, taking the second set 25-16.
The Gaels could not fend off the Paladins offense through to the third set. The Paladins won the third 25-17 to pushing the match to a fourth set.
Gaels outside hitter
Adam Boljkovac played well in the fourth set, rounding out the match with 11 kills. The Gaels impressive efforts on offense saw the Gaels win the final set 25-17 as the Gaels defeated RMC 3-1.
