nd, 2019) The Queens Gaels (2-2) fell in straight sets to the Brock Badgers (4-0) to round out their home weekend at the ARC.

Gaels outside hitter
Julia Wiercigroch opened the first set with a big kill to get the match going. Followed by a major dig that set up a great rally, finishing with a point for the Gaels. The Brock Badgers retaliated with solid defense. Taking the first set 25-18.
Queens played strong defense in the second set as libero
Alexandra Tsiofas completed strong digs for the Gaels. The Badgers, however, rallied and managed to take the set 25-16.
Kicking off with a huge kill and finished the third set with a total of nine kills. The Gaels efforts on defense were not enough to keep the Badgers at bay, despite a mid-set tie. The Badgers took the third set 25-19, winning the match 3-0.
"This match was a really great learning experience for us, games like this teach us how to establish our offence the way we want a little bit more, and we'll get stronger as a result. Rachel Meilikhan did a great job swinging as a first year playing at home," said Gaels head coach
