PETERBOROUGH, Ont. (October 5th, 2019) The Queen's Gaels women's soccer team (8-0-2) defeated the Trent Excalibur (3-6-1) 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in Peterborough.  Â
GAME FLOW
Cecilia Way scored the lone goal of the game in the first half. Way currently sits in second place in the OUA with eight goals scored this season.
Leading 1-0 after 45 minutes, the Gaels defense held Trent to zero goals throughout the remaining 45 minutes and Way's goal proved to be enough to walk away victorious as the Gaels finished the match with a 1-0 victory.Â
The Gaels remain unbeaten this season at 8-0-2 and currently sit tied with Ottawa for first place in the East Division.Â
