Seniors day sees Gaels win final home game of season 3-0 over RMC

KINGSTON, Ont. (October 13th, 2019) – The Queen's Gaels (4-7-2) defeated the RMC Paladins (0-10-2) 3-0 in the Gaels last game at Richardson Stadium this season.

SENIORS DAY
Prior to kick-off the Gaels honoured their graduating seniors who took part in their final match of the OUA season at Richardson Stadium. Michael Chang, Alex Jones, James Michaelis, Thomas Volz, Tyler Gowdy and Kody Kazda were all recognized Sunday.

GAME FLOW

The Gaels began today's match against the RMC Paladins aiming to end the regular season at home with a victory Sunday afternoon.

The scoring began with Cameron Wallace striking for two goals on two shots in the first 15 minutes of action to open up the Gaels lead. Following their explosive start, things slowed down with the Paladins able to halt the Gaels scoring chances during the remainder of the first half.

During the second half, Queen's would look to seal a victory as Michael Chang was able to give the Gaels a definitive 3-0 lead during the
63rd minute. Defensively, the red, blue and gold played phenomenal holding the

Paladins to zero goals and just four shots on goal. The Gaels had only three shots on goal with each shot finding the back of the next.
