Chang goal is all Gaels need in 1-0 win at UOIT

OSHAWA, Ont. (September 7, 2018) - The Queen's Gaels (2-1-0) picked up their first road win of the season taking down UOIT (0-5-0) 1-0 on Friday evening in OUA men' soccer action.

GAME FLOW
The Ridgebacks applied early pressure on the Gaels hungry for their first win of the season after a tough start with losses to Ryerson, Carleton and a pair to Toronto.

The Gaels were able to contain the Ridgebacks attack with strong defensive play and four first half saves from Alex Jones.

A timely cross from Noah Campagna went off the post and bounced out to Michael Chang who made no mistake for his first goal of the season early in the second half.

Queen's held on from there as Jones collected the clean sheet shutout victory.

JONES LEADS THE WAY
Alex Jones was once again on his game stopping all seven shots he faced in the match to preserve the clean sheet victory for Queen's. The OUA All-Star from a season ago has yet to allow a goal through two starts.
