Three yellow cards were handed out in the first half, one for Noah Campagna (Ottawa, Ont.), Junior Kwame Addai (Calgary, Alta.) and Toronto's Yousef Helmy as the intensity ramped up. There were five yellow cards handed out during the game in total.

Queen's scored their first goal of the game on a shot by Sean Inaki Hew (Singapore) to bring the game back into striking distance at 2-1.
Another header shot by James Michaelis (Aurora, Ont.) kept the Gaels offensive momentum up but unfortunately in the 90th minute, the Varsity Blues scored again making the final score 3-1 for Toronto.
