GAMES OF THE WEEK
Women's Soccer
The No. 7 women's soccer team (5-1) faces their toughest competition this season as they square off with the No. 8 Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday afternoon. The two teams boast the top two offences in the OUA with the Gaels leading the way averaging 3.83 goals per game. The game will also feature a battle between four of the OUA's top-five individual scorers. The Gaels' Jenny Wolever (6) and Alexandra Doane (5) are tied for third and fifth in league scoring. Meanwhile, the Gee-Gees' Emma Lefebvre (10) leads the OUA in goals with Mikayla Morton (5) tied for fifth as well.

Saturday's game of the week will be held at Richardson Stadium at 1pm and is free for all fans to attend. The game can also be seen live on YourTV cable 13 / HD cable 700.

On Sunday, the Gaels will welcome the Carleton Ravens (3-3-2) to Richardson Stadium to cap off the weekend. After a rough start to their season, the Ravens have rebounded with back-to-back 1-0 wins last weekend over Nipissing and Laurentian.

Admission for Sunday's game is free for all fans as well.

Men's Soccer
The men's soccer team (5-2) will play the Trent Excalibur (0-7) in the second game of the week on Saturday afternoon. The Gaels are coming off a weekend split after beating Toronto 2-1 but falling to Ryerson the next day. Meanwhile, Trent enters their meeting on Saturday looking for revenge after the Gaels came into Peterborough and were victorious 6-2 over the Excalibur.

The Gaels' offence has been clicking to start the season as nine different players have found the back of the net in just seven games. Brevin MacKay (4) and Michael Chang (3) lead the way in scoring, meanwhile Alex Jones is a perfect 4-0 in net while only allowing a single goal in his four starts. They'll look to continue their team approach over a winless Trent squad.

Admission for Saturday's game of the week is free for all fans and will start at 3:15pm at Richardson Stadium. The game will also be broadcasted live on YourTV cable 13 / HD cable 700.

On Sunday, the Gaels will have their work cut out for them as they host the No. 5 Carleton Ravens (7-0-1). Carleton has a dynamic offence led by Gabriel Bitar and Jimi Aribido who have combined for 11 of their team's 25 goals. However much like the Gaels, the Ravens pride themselves on their defence. Through eight games they've allowed just three goals whereas the Gaels have allowed five goals in six games.

Admission is free for this must-see matchup between two of the top teams in the OUA. Game time is set for 3:15pm at Richardson Stadium.

Football
The Queen's football team (2-2) will head to Guelph for what could be a must-win matchup against the Guelph Gryphons. Game time is set for 1:00pm on Saturday, at Alumni Stadium.

Men's Rugby
After a dominating 97-8 win in Toronto last weekend, the Gaels (3-0) return to Nixon Field looking to remain undefeated. They will welcome the Brock Badgers (1-2) into town on Saturday with game time set for 1pm.

The Gaels have the highest scoring offence in the OUA averaging just over 75 points per game. Defensively, they are tied with Guelph by allowing just 36 points through three games. Brock enters the matchup with their lone win coming on opening weekend when they beat the Toronto Varsity Blues 50-0 on home turf. Since then, they've suffered a 75-5 loss to Waterloo and a 38-20 loss against McMaster.

Last season, the Badgers were 5-3 and qualified for the playoffs, however they ran into a red hot Gaels team and fell at home 66-15.

Admission is free for all fans who want to catch the action at Nixon Field, otherwise you can watch the game live on OUA.tv.

Women's Rugby
The No. 5 Gaels will use their bye-week to their advantage as they host an exhibition matchup against the No. 1 Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday morning. Game time is set for 10:30am at Nixon Field.

After an impressive 34-14 win against No. 10 McMaster last weekend, the Gaels will get a taste of what the top-ranked Gee-Gees have to offer. If all things go as planned for the Gaels they could use this game as an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming OUA Playoffs and U SPORTS Championship by competing against the best that Canada has to offer.

Admission is free for all fans who want to watch the highly anticipated matchup live.

Cross Country
The men's and women's cross country teams will be back in action this weekend as they participate in the Western Invitational on Saturday.

It was a sweeping success for the Gaels last weekend during the Queen's Invitational. In the women's race, rookie Brogan MacDougall claimed the top spot, with teammates Taylor Sills, Makenna Fitzgerald and Jade Watson close behind her. Meanwhile, on the men's side Mitchell de Lange grabbed the win for the Gaels as teammates Brett Crowley, Matthew Flood, Ruben Sansom and Mitchell Kirby rounded out the top-five.

The Gaels will look for similar success in London as the OUA season kicks into full gear.

PRESEASON ACTION
Men's Volleyball
The 2017 OUA silver medalists kick off their 2018-19 campaign with an exhibition matchup on Saturday in Montreal. Queen's will take on the Montreal Carabins, who like the Gaels qualified for the U SPORTS Championship earlier this year.

Women's Hockey
After getting their first taste of preseason action last weekend, the Gaels will head to Montreal for a pair of exhibition matchups. First, on Saturday at 1pm Queen's will play the Western Mustangs. Then on Sunday, the Gaels will have another exhibition game however the opponent and game time is yet to be determined.
