SUDBURY, Ont. (Saturday, October 13, 2018) - The Queen's Gaels (8-2-3) settle for a 1-1 draw in a road game against the Laurentian Voyageurs (3-6-4).
 
GAME FLOW
The Gaels played a fantastic first half, starting the game with strong defence and substantial ball control. The Tricolour struggled to find gaps in the Voyageur's defence, making it difficult to attempt a multitude of shots on goal in the first half. Queen's continued to play an aggressive and intense game with 11 fouls by the end of the first 45.

Jenny Wolever (Toronto, Ont.) and Christie Gray (Vancouver, B.C.) picked up the Gaels offensive game, attempting runs on the Laurentian goal that were ultimately unsuccessful. The first half ended with a tied score of 0-0.
 
Only one minute into the second half, the Voyagerus caught the Queen's defence flat-footed, scoring the first goal of the game off a fumbled cross from the right side of the pitch. The Gaels were unable to clear the cross and allowed a Laurentian striker to tap the ball into the back of the net.

A much needed goal from the OUA's goal scoring leader, Jenny Wolever tied the score at 1-1 in the 66th minute of the game.
 
The Gaels and Voyageurs were unable to find the back of the net for the remainder of the game, leaving the final score at a 1-1 tie.
