The Queen's Gaels Fencing team were represented by 42 athletes at the Brock Open this past weekend in St. Catharines from November 18-19.
Most notable from the Gaels showing at the Brock Open was Queen's fencing rookie Matthew Litwin, who claimed the silver medal in Men's Epee.
Following Litwin's performance, the Gaels top four women's foilists – Kyra Dorfman, Jessie Pollett, Angela Feng and Laura Lacombe – all placed well in their competition.
All in all, the Tricolour had strong performances across the board during a weekend where they faced stiff opposition from private clubs and other universities.
