The 2026 Women's Fencing OUA Championships were held at the Peterborough Memorial Centre hosted at Trent University. In the individual events held on Saturday, the Queen's Gaels Queen's had an exceptional first day, with a gold, a silver, and four additional top 16 finishes.

In the Women's Sabre Individual event, Tatiana Gayowsky won the gold medal, besting the University of Toronto's Janna Elshakankiri 15-13 in an exciting final match.
Rookie Women's Foilist Alison Wang tied for second coming out of the first round of poules and was first after the second round, having only 10 points scored against her in her first 12 bouts. She went undefeated until the finals where she earned the Silver Medal after fencing the Toronto Varsity Blues' Catherine Wu.
Queen's other top 16 results in the individual events on Saturday consist of Women's Epee Captain, Elizabeth Fullerton, who placed 12; Women's Foil Captain Sarah Jacobson who placed 14th; Aya El-Awour came in 14th in Women's Sabre; and Women's Sabre Captain, Quintyn Zuber who finished the first day in 16th place overall.
After the first day of competition, Queen's was ranked third place overall behind the University of Toronto and Western University.
In Sunday's team events, the Sabre Team consisting of Tatiana Gayowsky, Florella Peng, Joyce Lyn Fox, and Quintyn Zuber took the Bronze medal, beating the RMC Paladins 45-38. In Women's Foil, the Gaels team comprised of Alison Wang, Sarah Jacobson, Sophie Kitson, and Shayna Sharma came in 5th overall after beating McMaster and the Queen's Epee team of Elizabeth Fullerton, Lillian Liu, Autumn Xinyi Wang, & Songyeon Kim ended the competition in an hard-fought sixth place.
With their strong finishes in all three weapons over the course of the weekend, the Queen's Gaels finished third overall in the Banner points, earning Bronze Medals for the team.
At the Banner presentation ceremony, Queen's Foilist Alison Wang was awarded the Dave O'Donnell Trophy, given to the athlete who demonstrated the highest level of skill, style, and sportswomanship.
