OTTAWA (October 6, 2017) - The Queen's Gaels were in Ottawa to take on the Gee-Gees in a final tune-up before the OUA season begins next Friday.
The Gaels skated to a 3-0 victory, shutting out the home side. The Tricolour took an early lead with a pair of goals in the opening period and picked up their third of the night in the second.

Eric Ming and
Slater Doggett all scored for the Gaels with
Kevin Bailie and
Jacob Brennan splitting duties between the pipes.
The duo combined for a 36 save shutout with Bailie stopping the first 16 and Brennan holding down the fort turning aside the last 20.
