Kingston, Ont. (September 17, 2016) - The Gaels handed Laurier their first loss of the regular season in a 67-5 game on Nixon Field Saturday afternoon.

Nicholas DeLallo (Ottawa) got Queen's off to a quick start with his first of three tries only four minutes into the game. His teammates soon followed suit, as
Tristan Ruse (Campbellville, Ont.),
Evan Underwood (Toronto), Doug Scully, and
Ben Bethune (West Vancouver) added their own tries to the Gaels score in the first half.
Will McArthur (Brantford, Ont.) added three conversions to give Queen's 36 points at halftime. Laurier managed their only score of the game when Kieran Glover scored a try just before halftime.
It was more of the same from the Gaels in the second half, with tries from
Kainoa Lloyd (Mississauga, Ont.),
David Williams (Toronto), and
Jonathan Ezer (Toronto)
Lloyd took over the kicking duties for the second half to end the day with 14 points on a pair of tries and a pair of conversions.
Mason Dingwall (Ottawa) also hit one conversion.
