FULL SCHEDULE:Â Men's soccer schedule
The Queen's men's soccer team hits the pitch on September 3rd to open their OUA schedule at home against Nipissing on Miklas-McCarney Field at 2:15pm. The Gaels also host the Voyageurs on Saturday, September 4th at 2:15pm at Miklas-McCarney. Queen's season ended last year in the OUA quarter-finals with a 1-0 loss to Toronto.
The Gaels finished third in the OUA East for the third straight year, and look to build on that success in the season to come. The lineup for the tricolour this year includes returning OUA East Division All-Stars Jacob Schroeter (Ottawa, Ont.), Oliver Coren (Toronto), Kristian Zanette (Thunder Bay, Ont.) and Sam Abernathy (Halifax).
Despite making the playoffs the last four years, Queen's hasn't won an OUA medal since their 2007 season, when they earned an OUA Bronze medal. The Gaels will be looking to get past the quarter-final round – a feat they haven't accomplished since 2012.
