MONTREAL, Que. (November 19, 2016) - The No.10 Queen's Gaels (10-3-1) got back in the win column with a 2-1 road win over the Concordia Stingers (9-4-0) Saturday night.

GAME FLOW
After
Ryan Bloom (Calgary, Alta) took a high sticking penalty in the first period, Concordia opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Raphael Lafontaine scored on the powerplay to give the Stingers a 1-0 lead. Philippe Hudson and Anthony Cortese assisted on the play. In the 14th minute, the Gaels responded when
Peter Angelopolous (Nobleton, Ont.) tied the game on his second of the season.
Francesco Vilardi (Kingston, Ont.) and
Warren Steele (Williamsburg, Ont.) picked up the assists as the period ended with the game tied 1-1.

In the second,
Slater Doggett (Oakville, Ont.) scored to give the Gaels a 2-1 lead.
Eric Ming (Williamstown, Ont.) and
Spencer Herbst (Toronto, Ont.) contributed the assists on what proved to be Doggett's second game-winner of the year.
A scoreless third period made the final 2-1 Queen's.
