MONTREAL (January 2, 2015) -  The women's hockey team was in Montreal to start the New Year for the Theresa Humes exhibition tournament. The Gaels were able to force a shootout in their final game but finished with a 0-2-1 record.

The Gaels dropped their first game of the Theresa Humes exhibition tournament after falling 7-3 verus Team Quebec on Friday and were stopped once again on Saturday with a 4-1 loss versus the Western Mustangs. 

Queen's was able to push the host Concordia Stingers to a shootout but the Gaels could not seal the victory and lost 4-3. Tracy-Ann Lavigne scores the shootout winner for the Stingers.

The Laurier Golden Hawks finished as the tournament champions beating Team Quebec 5-4 in a shootout on Sunday.
