NORTH BAY, Ont. (September 15, 2013) - The No. 8-ranked Gaels outscored the Nipissing Lakers 3-0 to bring home a victory from North Bay.
The game remained scoreless until the forty-fifth minute of action when
Oliver Coren put Queen's on the scoreboard before half. The Gaels attacking offense did not subside as
Chris Wellsman and
Tommy Hong each tallied goals only five minutes apart, late in the second.
Dylan Maxwell had six saves in the ninety minutes of play to help seal the victory for the Gaels on the road.
The Gaels are back in action next weekend as they play the Ryerson Rams (3-0-1) at home on Saturday, September 21.
