Game of the Week - Football vs Laurier
Football: The homecoming football game against the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks, set to kickoff at 1pm on Saturday at Richardson Stadium, is the game of the week. The Gaels are 4-1, fresh off their first loss of the season, after falling to the Western Mustangs 50-31 last weekend. Laurier also lost last weekend, as the Windsor Lancers spoiled the Golden Hawks' homecoming with a 26-25 win. Stopping the league's leading rusher, Laurier's Dillon Campbell, will be key for the Gaels to another win to their name. Queen's left Laurier scoreless in their last matchup, a 34-0 slashing in last year's playoffs.

TEAMS AT HOME

Women's Soccer: The women's soccer team is in action twice this week. They play the RMC Paladins at 7:30pm on Wednesday, and the Ottawa Gee-gees at 12pm on Saturday on the West Campus Turf. Coming off an 8-0 stomping of the Trent Excalibur, the No. 7 Gaels will look to beat their Kingston rivals Wednesday night, having beaten the Paladins 1-0 in their season-opener. The No. 1 ranked Gee-Gees are undefeated this regular season with a record of 8-0-2, but the Gaels held Ottawa to scoreless match in September.

Men's Soccer: The men's soccer team will play their cross city-rivals, the RMC Paladins, at 5:30pm on Friday on the West Campus Turf Field. The 4-2-2 Gaels played to a scoreless draw against RMC last week, and will look to better that result this weekend at home. The Paladins' only win this year came in their season-opener against the Trent Excalibur, a team the Gaels beat 1-0 last weekend.

Men's Rugby: Undefeated at 4-0, the men's rugby team handled Western on the road last weekend with a 36-18 victory. The Gaels will look for another win against the McMaster Marauders at 1pm on Saturday, at Nixon Field. The Gaels are alone atop the OUA, with a point-spread of +158 this season. The player to watch for the Gaels is Adam McQueen, who leads the league with 35 points.

Women's Rugby: The No.4-ranked Gaels are 4-0 after beating the University of Toronto Varsity Blues 4-0 last weekend. The women look to continue their streak against the Waterloo Warriors this Saturday at 4pm. They Gaels defeated Waterloo last year in the OUA semi-finals 36-27, and are looking to take the victory to go undefeated for the second straight year in OUA play.

Women's Basketball:  Coming off a 57-54 exhibition win over the UQAM Citadins this past Sunday, the women's basketball team is hosting their annual Tindall tournament at the ARC this weekend. The Gaels are in action at 6pm on Friday against the UPEI Panthers, 6pm on Saturday against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, and 2pm on Sunday versus the Concordia Stingers.

Men's Basketball: The men's basketball team defeated the St. Lawrence College Vikings 86-62 last Friday at St. Lawrence. To continue their pre-season action, the men are hosting an invitational tournament in the main gym at the ARC this weekend. The Gaels will play the University of Manitoba Bisons at 8pm on Friday, the Bishop's University Gaiters at 8pm on Saturday, and their OUA rivals, the Ryerson Rams, at 4pm on Sunday.

Women's Hockey: The women's hockey team went 2-1 at the Queen's Invitational tournament last weekend. The Gaels look to carry that momentum into their 7:30pm regular season opener against the UOIT Ridgebacks on Friday at the Memorial Centre. Queen's had a 20-4-2 regular season record in 2012-2013, and finished the year with the OUA title.

Field Hockey:  The Gaels are hosting a home tournament this coming weekend on Tindall Field. The competition is high with the following schools coming to Kingston to compete: Guelph, Toronto, McGill, Waterloo, York and Western. The Gaels face off on Saturday at 10:45am against Guelph. The women are back on the field on Sunday at 9am against Western and play their final game at 2:15 against York.

Baseball: The Gaels are hosting Brock University this Saturday at 1pm and 4pm at Megaffin Park. The men play another double header at Megaffin Park on Sunday at 1pm and 4pm against the University of Waterloo.

Sailing: The Queen's sailing team is holding the Queen's open, hosted by the Kingston Yacht Club, this Saturday and Sunday at 9am.
