TORONTO (October 12, 2013)- After conceding a goal in the opening minutes on Saturday, the Gaels tied the No. 10 University of Toronto Varsity Blues 1-1 on the road.

Melissa Jung (Mississauga, Ont.) tied the game 38 minutes in for Queen's after LaShaunna Harper put Toronto ahead in the 2
nd minute. Neither team could find the back of the net in the second half, with both keepers standing tall.
Madison Tyrell (White Rock, B.C.) had eight saves for the Gaels to preserve the tie, while her counterpart Sara Petrucci had three saves for Toronto.

The Gaels (6-2-5) Â are in Toronto again tomorrow to play the Ryerson Rams (3-7-2) at noon.
