KINGSTON, Ont. –
Kristin Smith (Toronto, Ont.) had the shootout winning goal leading the Gaels to a 3-2 win over the Alberta Pandas on Sunday in the final day of the National Female Hockey Challenge in Lethbridge, Alta.
The Gaels and Pandas were both 2-0 in the National Female Hockey Challenge going into their final game of the tournament.
Brittany McHaffie (Guelph, Ont.) and
Alisha Sealey (Elora, Ont.) scored for the Gaels in regulation.
Karissa Savage (Calgary, Alta.) was in net for the Gaels.
The Gaels return to action next weekend as they face Toronto on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. and Ryerson on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
