KINGSTON, Ont. (September 3, 2011) – The Queen's Gaels were shut out 2-0 at home to the Ottawa Gee Gees in an exhibition match at Tindall Field Saturday.

Jordan Brooks of Angus, Ont. was awarded a penalty kick but could not convert to get the Gaels back in the match.
Last week the Gaels travelled to Cornell for an exhibition match and were able to secure a 0-0 draw against the Big Red. The Gaels played a strong defensive system as they stalled the Cornell offence.
The Gaels' regular season campaign begins September 7 as they visit the Carleton Ravens.
