KINGSTON, Ont. (November 9, 2011) - With the women's soccer Gaels headed to Montreal to play for a CIS title, the Gaels host many exciting matchups in Kingston this weekend. With home openers for both Gaels basketball teams taking place in the ARC and one of the most storied rivalries in hockey history taking renewing acquaintences at the Memorial Centre, there is plenty of action for Gaels fans to take in this weekend.
MATCHUP OF THE WEEK (Men's Hockey vs. No. 2 McGill)
The Gaels return to Kingston after a tough road trip to Ottawa and Quebec to host their longtime rival, the McGill Redmen. The team has amassed a 3-1-0 record at home this season but is coming off of two straight losses to Ottawa and Concordia. The Gaels haven't lost three straight games this season and will look to win their first game since defeating the Toronto Varsity Blues 4-3 in Overtime on October 29, 2011.
