BOX SCORE KINGSTON (November 25, 2011) - The Gaels (4-1) dominated the McMaster Marauders (2-3) in OUA basketball action Friday night at the ARC with a final score of 94-65.
The Gaels had a huge night offensively. The team came out firing, with an impressive 29 point first quarter giving them a comfortable early lead. In the second quarter they scored 20, bringing their total only one point shy of a 50 point half. The Gaels were excellent from everywhere on the floor, shooting 58 percent in field goals and three pointers at the half. Defensively Queen's limited the Marauders, who were held under 30 points in the half.
The second half followed suit with the first. The Gaels scored 45 points, holding McMaster to 36. The Gaels continued to hit from beyond the ARC as their percentage went to 63.
The Gaels posted a number of impressive stats. They made it to the line 21 times and connected on 18 of their attempts. They dominated the glass out rebounding the Marauders 45-25. The Gaels also held the Marauders to under 20 points in three of the four quarters of play.

Rachael Urosevic led the charge for the Gaels with 17 points including four three pointers on four for seven shooting.
Paige Robinson of Calgary and
Brittany Moore of Hannon, Ont. added 14 points apiece. First year Kingston, Ont. native
Jenny Wright hauled in seven rebounds off the bench to lead all Gaels.
Vanessa Bonomo led the Mauraders with 13 points.
The Gaels are back in action tomorrow evening at 6:30 at home versus the Brock Badgers
