KINGSTON, Ont. (November 19, 2011)- The Gaels (6-2) faced off against their rival McMaster Marauders (3-5) at home today. The Gaels won the first set 25-21, Kelsey Bishop of North Vancouver, B.C. provided a strong game in the process. She would finish the match with an impressive eight kills.

An evenly distributed attack contributed to the Gaels second set victory, as they convincingly won 25-13. The Marauders were unable to find their touch, after making multiple errors which proved to be their undoing.

The Gaels would complete their second sweep in as many days, winning the third and final set 25-11. Becky Billings of Ottawa found some gaps in the Marauder defense and put on a serving clinic.

Natalie Gray of Oshawa hammered home decisive points to catapult the Gaels toward their win. Shannon Walsh of Kingston, Ont., demonstrated great hustle and court vision, as well as serving as a vocal leader on and off the court.

The Gaels return to action on December 2 when they host the Ryerson Rams in the ARC. Start time is set for 6:00 pm.
