ST. CATHARINES, Ont. (October 15, 2011) -
Matt Kelly of Toronto was awarded man of the match in the Queen's Gaels (5-1) win against the Brock Badgers (2-4) with a final score of 29-5.
Despite terrible weather conditions, excellent play by the Gaels forwards resulted in tries scored by Toronto natives
George Gleeson and
Liam Underwood as well as
Tim Richardson and
Tommy Kirkham both of Vancouver.
With a solid defense by the Gaels, the Badgers were only able to add one try to the scoreboard. With three successful conversions by Underwood, he was able to contribute another nine points making the final score 29-5.
Queen's will host Laurier at home next Friday at 6pm
