KINGSTON, Ont. (October 9, 2010) – Briana Kelly of North Vancouver, B.C., had two goals and set up another as the Queen's Gaels women's field hockey team picked up a win and a tie last Friday afternoon at Tindall Field.

Morgan Bignell of Lakefield, Ont., put Queen's in front by two in the 52nd minute before Kelly notched her second of the game in the 61st minute to give the Gaels a 3-0 victory.

The Gaels finished up their weekend competition with a 1-1 tie against the McGill Martlets. However, Queen's would tie the game in the 43rd minute when Kelly set up Amber Halcovitch of Apsley, Ont., earning the Gaels a single point.
