Karlye Wong of Ottawa, scored a pair of trys as Queen's won their first four games since 2005 with a 27-5 victory over the Trent Excalibur Friday night in Peterborough.
The result guarantees that the Gaels will host a home playoff game for the second consecutive season and leaves them alone on top of the OUA Russell Division standings with 19 points.
Queen's also received a strong game from CIS All-Canadian
Andrea Wadsworth of Toronto, who scored a try and was successful on a convert, giving her seven points in the game.
Susan Heald of Burlington, Ont., and
Jocelyn Poirier of Ottawa, also added trys for the Gaels.
Lauren Wizowski of Lindsay, Ont., scored the lone try for the Excalibur who fall to 0-3-1 on the season.
The Gaels will close out the regular season next Friday when they host the Toronto Varsity Blues at 1:00 pm at Kingston Field.
