KINGSTON, Ont. (September 26, 2009) – After starting the season with two straight wins, the Queen's Gaels could not overcome their rivals from McMaster on Saturday afternoon at Kingston Field.
Although the Gaels fell short, they capitalized on the Marauder's mistakes, stealing 6 points in penalty kicks.
Peggy-Rae Carswell of Stittsville, Ont. and
Emily Stern of Toronto did not let the Marauders shake them. Both women completed their penalty kicks bringing the final score to 39-6 for McMaster.
The Gaels will be on the road next weekend to play The Varsity Blues at the University of Toronto. Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm.
