Joren Zeeman had 11 kills in a three set loss to McMaster on Friday
HAMILTION, Ont. (November 6, 2009) – The Queen's men's volleyball team suffered their first loss of the season as they fell to the McMaster Marauders in straight sets.

Joren Zeeman of Cambridge Ont., had 12 kills and 2 aces to lead the Gaels but it wasn't enough to propel them to victory.

The Gaels came out strong and matched the Marauders shot-for-shot in their opening set, but couldn't pull out the set win falling 25-21. They continued to improve in the second set, finishing with an extremely close score of 25-23. Down two sets to none, the Gaels couldn't mount a comeback and fell in final set 25-11.

Daniel Rosenbaum of Hamilton Ont., returned to the Gaels lineup and had 14 sets in the match, to help Zeeman's offensive contributions. Michael Amoroso of Toronto Ont., chipped in with 5 kills on the night.

The Gaels' next game is in Waterloo against the University of Waterloo Warriors tomorrow night.
