KINGSTON Ont. (October 16, 2009) – Chantel Marson of London, Ont., recorder her fifth shutout of the season as the No. 6 Queen's Gaels played to a 0-0 tie against the Carleton Ravens on Friday afternoon in OUA women's soccer.

The game was marked by strong defensive play from the Gaels' fullbacks and the spectacular play of Marson. Offensively, Queen's pressured the Carleton defence and had three scoring opportunities from corner kicks.

With three games left in regular season, the tie leaves the Gaels tied with the No. 3 Ottawa Gee Gees for first in the OUA East division; both hold 10-1-2 records. On Sunday, the Gee Gees visit Queen's in a battle for first place and what could be the deciding game for a division title. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm at Richardson Stadium.
