Lorna Button leads the Gaels to a 3-0 victory over Windsor
Windsor, Ont. (January 30, 2009) – Lorna Button of Newcastle, Ont., tallied 13 points as the Queen's Gaels defeated the Windsor Lancers 3-0 in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) women's volleyball.

Button had 12 kills on 16 total attacks while tallying six digs to lead the Gaels in scoring. Katie Matthews of Aurora, Ont., recorded eight points, while setter Kirsten Collins of Whitby, Ont., had 24 assists. Sarah Fetterly of Ottawa had the game high 14 digs for Queen's.

Jovana Stranatic of Windsor led the Lancers in scoring with nine while Jillian Fantuz of Chatham, Ont., had 13 assists in the loss.

Queen's (9-7) is in fourth place of the OUA East division and sit two points behind Toronto for third place. Windsor remains in last place of the West division with just a single victory to their credit.

On Saturday, the Gaels will face the Western Mustangs (14-2) who lead the OUA West division.
