Pancer leads Gaels in 14-10 win over McMaster

Hamilton (September 27, 2008) - Zack Pancer of Unionville, Ont. scored one try and added two converts to help the Gaels defeat McMaster 14-10 on Saturday.

Both teams have shown they can win big as Queen's defeated Toronto in week one 86-3 and McMaster defeated Windsor 62-0 in week two. Going into the game they had a combined score of 216 points which pitted two top offences against each other.

Matthew Cameron of Ottawa also got on the score sheet for the Gaels with a try while Alexander Sithole of Pickering, Ont., and Shawn Windsor of Stoney Creek, Ont. scored for McMaster.

Queen's record now moves to 2-0-1 and into first place of the east division while McMaster falls to 3-1-0 and into second place in the west behind Guelph who is still undefeated at 4-0.

The Gaels will travel to Peterborough next Saturday October 4th to take on the Trent Excalibur. Game time is set for 5:00pm.
