Queen's end regular season with un-defeated record

Kingston,Ont. ( October 18, 2008) - Twelve different players scored for Queen's while Ryan Kruyne of Dunrobin, Ont. hit 11 converts for 22 points on the day as they Gaels ended the regular season with a 92-20 victory over the Royal Military College (RMC).

RMC started off well taking an early 10-7 lead but the Gaels were just to much for the Paladins as Captian Alister Clark of Oakville, Ont. and Matthew Cameron of Ottawa both recorded two tries.

Queen's would control the play for the rest of the game spreading the ball around getting tries from Graham Whatt of Richmond Hill, Ont., Dale Lablans of Kingston, Ont., Dan Pletch of Lucan, Ont., Alex Nemetz-sinchein of Vancouver, Graeme Diben of Edmonton, Atla., Kyle Freitag of Alliston, Ont., Zach Pancer of Unionville, Ont., Chris Barrett of Vancouver, Michael Salisbury of Toronto, Thomas Binczyk of Victoria, B.C., and Scott Kyle of Singapore.

With the victory Queen's finishes in first place with a record of 5-0-1 and will have home field advantage in the playoffs next weekend as they will take on the University of Toronto. Queen's met Toronto in the first week of the regular season were they defeated the Varsity Blues 86-3.
