Scott Bowman of Milton, Ont., is a sabre fencer for the Queen’s Gaels who helped lead the men’s team to a bronze medal at the OUA Championship in Ottawa this weekend. The biochemistry major captured individual gold in the men’s sabre and also led the men’s sabre team to a silver medal in the team relay. For that performance, he was named co-winner of the George Tully Trophy, awarded to the male fencer who is most proficient in skill, style and sportsmanship.
