Becky Conroy of Pembroke, Ont., played hero over the final weekend of the 2008 hockey season netting two game winners while adding an additional goal and an assist in two games over the weekend. Heading into the break she is the top scorer in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) with 12 goals which is five ahead of the next closest player. She also leads in total-points with 22 and sits third in game winning goals. On Saturday with the game deadlocked at zero in the third period, Conroy would score giving the Gaels a decisive 1-0 win over Western. Sunday would see Conroy score the game winner on the power play and add another during a 5-1 victory over Windsor.
