Jenny Hogsden (Waterdown, Ont.) and Katya Herman (Sudbury, Ont.) took two goal medals along with the OUA Championship banner for the women’s team. Hogsden and Herman teamed up in the Women’s Heavyweight 2x and defeated Western and Brock to take the gold. Individually Hogsen would secure gold in the Women’s Lightweight Single while Herman took the gold in the Women’s Heavyweight 1x. Head Coach John Armitage was most impressed with these athletes as they were challenged to row “up” a weight class and were successful in claiming the title.
