Jackie Byers of Mississauga, Ont.

The first-year attack player, Jackie Byers of Mississauga, Ont. contributed nine goals and two assists leading Queen’s to a 3-0 start to open the OUA women’s lacrosse season. Byers celebrated her birthday on Saturday by scoring four goals in a 14-4 rout over the University of Toronto. On Sunday she added another four goals in an 11-7 victory over McMaster. In the afternoon match-up she notched a single goal in a 9-7 victory over McGill.
