Niko Rukavina of Mississauga, Ont., registered career highs in kills and hitting percentage in the No. 8 Gaels straight set victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues this past weekend. The fourth year health studies major recorded 18 kills, committing just two errors, on 23 takes to finish the match with a 69.6 hitting percentage as Queen’s won their fourth straight game. Rukavina, who also added six digs in the win, has now seen his kill total increase in four consecutive games and is now averaging 2.5 kills per set.
