Jackson Dakin of Courtenay, B.C., was named the man of the match in both of the Queen’s men’s volleyball victories this past weekend. In Friday’s game against Waterloo, the third year engineering chemistry major recorded 44 assists to go along with three aces and three blocks in the Gaels five set win. Saturday, Dakin added 27 assists along with nine blocks and four digs as Queen’s defeated Laurier in four sets.
