Meyers was awarded the Jack Jarvis Trophy as the oustanding male in an individual sport. Meyers had an outstanding career as a member of the lightweight four’s team. He won one gold and two silver medals at the past three OUA Championships to go along with a gold and a silver at the Canadian University Rowing Championships. Last season, Ryan joined the lightweight eight’s team where he earned gold at the OUA Championships as well as at the prestigious Head of Charles regatta in Boston, Mass.
