On Saturday, August 26th Queen's Athletics was pleased to welcome over 50 members of the 1997 Gaels Football team as they celebrated their 20th reunion.
 
The 1997 Gaels had a fantastic season, making it all the way to the provincial championship game that year. Although they fell to their opponent, the team was disqualified shortly after, making the Gaels that year's provincial champions!
 
A reunion was held at the revitalized Richardson Stadium to honour this group– participating team members had the opportunity to take the field before the kick-off and were recognized as the 1997 Dunsmore Cup Champions. Special thanks to alum Dan Coderre for his hard work in organizing the group's reunion activities.
