Jessayah joins the Gaels as a development and skills coach, bringing a player-centred approach shaped by his roots in New Brunswick and his experience working with high-performance athletes from many NCAA and U Sports programs. A former standout player in New Brunswick, Coach Vienneau has built a coaching reputation through his work with the Ice Wolves and through training a wide range of elite university players, focusing on elevating both technical excellence and in-game impact. His philosophy blends individual skill refinement with practical, game-ready application, anchored in strong, agile, and deceptive skating; purposeful puck handling; and an emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness over unnecessary flair. By tailoring development to each athlete’s strengths, style of play, and vision of the game, Coach Vienneau helps players sharpen the specific tools that create real offensive and defensive advantages because, in his view, skills matter most when they translate directly to winning puck battles, creating space, and putting the puck in the net.
