Dave Wilson

Wilson will be entering his 37th season as head coach (38th with the program) in 2018-19. Last season, the team made their 21st consecutive playoff appearance, as Wilson led a talented Gaels squad to an OUA quarter-final match after guiding the team to an OUA Final Four appearance and U SPORTS Championship in 2016-17.

In the last 16 years, Wilson’s teams have competed for five OUA East Championships/Final Four, won three OUA East Division Championships, one OUA Championship, and have made four U SPORTS Championship appearances. He prides his program on being one that provides student-athletes with the best of both worlds; first rate academics and first rate basketball.

Noted for his commitment to his athletes both on and off the court, Wilson feels that it is essential for athletes to know that the entire coaching staff is willing and able to help with matters relating to basketball, school, and life in general.
