Prior to Queen's: Served as alternate Captain for the Kingston Voyageurs in 2014-15 season... The Ottawa native finished fourth in points for his team... Prior to the Voyageurs, Stothart spent three seasons in the CCHL with Hawkesbury and Kanata... Alex is the son of the late Paul Stothart who starred for Queen's men's hockey in the late 70's and early 80's and was twice named CIAU player of the year along with being named the Queen's Jenkins Trophy winner and won the Queen's Cup with the Gaels as provincial champions.
