Queen's Men's Volleyball's Reed Venning, Nikola Mitrovic, Carson Francis named OUA All-Stars

Queen's Men's Volleyball had three student-athletes recognized as OUA All-Stars for the 2025-26 season, the conference announced on Thursday. Reed Venning was named a First Team All-Star, Nikola Mitrovic was named a Second Team All-Star, and Carson Francis was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team.

"As the team works towards securing another OUA championship and preparing for nationals, it's amazing to celebrate the accomplishments and individual performances that got us to this point," said Queen's Men's Volleyball Head Coach Gabriel deGroot.

"Reed Venning has had an exceptional OUA career and I'm so proud of his First Team All-Star selection this season. Reed has a generational arm swing that has set him apart from the league in his point scoring abilities.

"Nik Mitrovic had a breakout season for Queen's Men's Volleyball. He has established himself as a top left side in the country. Nik's impact has gone well beyond the court as he has also evolved as one of the team's true leaders.

"Carson Francis has had nothing short of a spectacular rookie season. He has already established himself as one of the purest receivers in the country. His role as Libero will only continue to grow over the coming years and I can't wait to see how much he is able to accomplish in his career."
