Queen's Women's Basketball dropped their OUA semifinals matchup against the Carleton Ravens 61-54 Wednesday night at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC).
After a tight first quarter, the Ravens went on a run in the second quarter to take an eight-point lead into half time, and held a 20+ point lead in the third quarter before the Gaels came storming back to make the score close late in the fourth quarter. Queen's comeback attempt ultimately fell just short as Carleton held on for the win and will advance to the OUA Critelli Cup.
Kiyara Letlow (Kinesiology) led the Gaels in scoring, pouring in 15 points and finishing just one rebound shy of a double-double.
Mikayla McFarlane (Kinesiology) also scored in double digits for Queen's, finishing with 10 points off the bench.
Queen's incredible season finished with a 21-1 regular season record and advancing to the OUA semifinals.
