Queen's Men's Hockey fell to the host McGill Redbirds 4-2 Friday night in Montreal, Que.

After McGill opened up a two-goal lead early in the second period, the Gaels fought back to even the score with goals from Sebbie Johnson (Arts & Science) and Michael Renwick (Arts & Science). Ante Zlomislic (Applied Science) assisted on Johnson's goal midway through the second period while Renwick's late second period goal went unassisted.

The Redbirds would respond with two third period goals to take a two-goal victory.

Queen's outshot McGill 29-21 in the loss. Tanner Wickware (Graduate Studies) made 17 saves for the Gaels in net.

With the loss, Queen's record fell to 10-9-0. The Gaels will close out their weekend road trip in Montreal tomorrow night, taking on the Concordia Stingers Saturday at 7 PM. Gaels fans can catch the action live on OUA.tv.
